Infinity, Haqqislam. Part 8
Getting there :) .
Getting there :) .
Back behind the paint pots and the paint brushe. Lets try to finish what I started last week.
Everything was going great until I woke up with fever and a very nasty flu. Now most progress on every level in my life is on a pause. But this cant go on forever and when it ends I will pick up were i left off. This is how far i got before the "interruption" .
I will be back as soon as i can sit straight and hold a brush :) .
Slowly getting to the end. I think i am about half way there or very close to that any way.
The basic troops is more or less done exept for the back packs and bases. Time for the more special units.
Started with the third model for my Haqqislam force. Feels like i have a good momentum going.
Moving on with the second model. I think the color scheme will be ok. I feel happy with it anyway :) .
This is my first model for my infinity force. I am not sure it is all done yet but I will hold here and move on with the rest of the models. The color scheme is inspired from different asian special ops units. It is not as colorful as you might see with other infinity color schemes. But I like my force to look a little more tactical and a little more realistic. To add to the force, I am thinking of putting a small piece of Arabic text some were on the models. What it will say and where I will put it will be something for the future. Bases will probably be desert sand or cracked earth or something along those lines.
So I have started both om my small projects. Infinity are on the table and I think I will be doing them first. Taking my time trying to figure out a color scheme. But I built three more black shields terminators, so I have stuff to do as soon as my haqqislam is done.
Next up on the painting tabel is some infinity models and more black shields. I will try to paint both projects parallel, but we will see if I can manage that. Infinity is a game I have played a littel and i did enjoy it. Now me and a friend are charing the start box operation red veil and hopfully this is the start of many long and fun hours in the future :) .
Here we go. The Spartan is done and ready for battle. I am pleased with the end results. Now my Iron warriors are more or less done. I have one medusa still waiting to be painted but other than that I think my IVth is finished. Now of course that don’t mean I won’t invest in more units for them or keep on building them up. But I don’t need more things for the time being. Black shields on the other hand have some small projects coming their way.
Almost done. Just a final puch and then I am finished.
I like were this is going :) . But i need to step it up. I have a game next week and this puppy will be the star of the show.
Some more rust and dirt. This is a big tank. Even if i want to speed things up i will go slow and steady for now. Try to make it right.
I have started to put on some dirt and rust on the spartan. Some areas will need some more love then others so i am not done with this stadge yet. But we are getting there.
I think the tank is ready for some dirt. It looks to well painted ;) .
So I am almost done with the first steps. I have dry brushed silver on the hull of the Spartan to break up the baby blue color it once had. I have also added wash in all the corners were different armor plates are overlapping. Next step after this will be to start to apply another layer of silver. A very bright silver that I will sponge on. And then the tank will be ready for some dirt :) .
Small steps on a big tank :) .
So it beginns. First step will be to remove some elements. This spartan was made for space wolves. So there was runes and legion nr on the hull. All looked very nice. But i cant have that if i want this to pass as a iron warriors tank. The idea is the same as it was with the land raider. I want to make some sort of paint scheme that will be ok for both black shields and iron warriors.
So here he is, all done and ready for todays game :) .
