So here it is! My Word bearers Contemptor is finished. As it is with all things i do, i might come back to this model to fix small things that i can see right now. I might run this model as a mhara gal dreadnought as well from time to time or at least to try out the rules before I get the official model. But overall i am really happy with the end result.

Started to paint this monster. Really like the mix of flesh and metal parts. A big mess of meat and machine. Going to be super fun to continue with future units like gal varbak and so on. But right now i will enjoy this Contemptor :) .

I think all the conversion work is done. I feel that it is ready for now but i will let him rest over night. Allways easyer to spot faults after you have given your eyes some rest :) .

This became a very fun little project. My Idea was to start with some other things but i got a deal on a hellbrute and this ...thing came to mind. Most of the conversion work is done but there is alot of green stuff that needs to be applied before i even can start to think about painting. But i love it, i am haveing a blast :) .

So the tactical squad is done! Really like the end result and are eager to start with the next part of my force. Next up will be some deamons :D . Here are some pictures of what i have finished so far. Hope you like it.

Not much left before the tactical squad is done. Just gone finish the bases :) .

So the tactical squad is starting to get done. I have some weathering to do and the bases but that is pretty much it. I have to say this took much longer time then I was expecting but I am happy with the result so far. Just need to finish it and start on the next step of my word bearers.

We are getting there. Some more text stuff to do and some weathering, oh and the base... and the eyes :) .

I think i am done with all the red. It is not super much left to do or rather it wont take much time before this squad is done....i hope ;) .

We are getting there but it is still alot left to do. But i think it looks nice so far.

Everything have been washed and i have started to clean up the red areas. Slow and steady.

So all silver are now applied. That was a grind. Now it is time for all the other colors before wash.

Half of all the silver is applied. It takes some time but it feels nice to take my time with this project. Slow and steady.

Base coat is on and so are the first layer of red. Moveing forward :) .

Finaly done. Took some time but at last all is cleand. All i need to do is to put it all together....and paint it of corse ;) .

The tac squad have been chopped up :) . I still have the boring part left and that is to clean all the parts from mould lines and stuff. But it is all good. The greater the effort the sweeter the reward :) .
