So weekend is over and we are back on track with the hobby work again. During the weekend there were also the chance to try battlefield 1 on PS4 and I of cores had to try it. It was a lot of fun I must say. But what was even more fun, was that I got a lot of inspiration for my iron warriors. I have tinkered with an iron warrior list with a WW1 feel to it. Mass infantry, cruel weapons and some odd tanks. I will work on the list some more and post an army list picture when I feel that I have something I want to field.  But the brutal ways of WW1 is really what Iron warriors is all about and I think this list will be both fluffy and effective.

I also made some small progress on my land raider. Looking forward to the week with a lot of hobby work and even some games planed. Let the good times roll.

Small update. Moste of the weekend will be very busy so I dont think I have alot of time for my land raider. But I found some time to test some small things. Now I just want to sit down and finish it but I guess I need to wait. I hate to be grown up. It was easy to find time for the hobby when i was a kid now it is a project to find time for my project ;) .

Might not look like alot of progress but I guess models of this size takes a littel longer for etch step. But as long as we are moveing forward we should be fine ;) .

Here is the land raider for the second marauder squad. Well it is a start any way. Feels nice to paint up a vehicles for a change. This is actually my very first land raider so I am excited to say the least. The idea is to make the color scheme in a dual purpose way. I want to use this transport both for my black shields but also for my iron warriors. I don’t think this will be much of a problem. But we will see were how it is going to end up.

So here we are. The marauder squad is done. I am quite happy with the result. Next will be the transport for this squad. I have been thinking a lot of what road to go but I finally decided on the humble land raider. I have already put it together, base coated it and started on the paint job but more on that tomorrow.

Almost done with the second marauder squad. And i have already started on the transport for them, but more on that later. Now i just need to finish these guys up and move on :D .

Some of the dirt are applied and I also added some white stripes on the armor. I think that made the model come together a littel better.

Some more progress on the marauder squad. I think this will be nice. I like the blue on the models. It feels different :) .

The first layers of paint is applied. Insted of going with red as the accent color i will try blue/green. I think that will help separate the squads if all of them end up in the same combat. I also think it can look quite nice :) .

So now all of the Marauders are built. Next will be to put some paint on these guys.

Almost done. Just need to add back packs and maybe some cabels or other bits depending on what i have in my bits box.

Almost done with all the parts. So just the last assembly and then painting :) .

It might look like my Marauders are getting some slow progress, but in fact i think i have done alot on them already :) . It takes a littel time to convert all the parts and to find that perfect bits. It will probably take a littel longer before all of them are done but we will get there.

Guild ball models are complete. Or as complete as I can make them at this time in my life ;) . Next up on the painting table is some black shields and I might need to start to think about what transport my second marauder squad should have.

So the ball is done and the goal is well on its way. Just the final push and i am done :) .

I think I am done with the guild ball models. Now have started on the ball token and on the goal so I guess I will move on to them and make sure I finish it all berore moveing on.

Here we go. The paint scheme is now done and i will move on to the base. Not sure what I will go with yet. Might need to look for inspiration first. But I am happy with the models so far. Might need to do a goal as well and of corse, the ball :) .

Got off to a good start with the guild ball models. Super nice to only have three models to worry about. And even if I love painting my black shields and Iron warriors it feels nice to do something other than power armor :) .

Bits and pieces and guild ball season.

Two projects on the painting table at the moment. The second marauder squad and two guild ball teams.

I do love skirmish games and have a few in my possession. I have been planning on making a gallery for all the models for all of these “smaller” games in the future but I think I will add them as I go along. Now guild ball is a game that me and my partner in crime (my wife to be), got our eyes on some month ago. We instantly ordered one team etch and then other things came in the way. But now I will finally sit down and paint the models up so we can have our first game. It will be nice to paint something different as well for a few sessions.
