So some more progress have been made on the medusa and its crew. Yesterday was also the first time i got to use the medusa in a game. It is more or less tabel top ready. Cant say it did anything epic. It got to fire the heavy bolter with snap shoots that was about it before it blew sky high. But it was nice to see it on the tabel any way. The game it self was awesome. Really bloody and nasty. I ended up losing in the end. But it was close all the way to the end :) .

We are getting there. I am planing to use my medusa in my next game. So i need to finish it by tomorrow :) . Make it tabel top ready any way.

Some more progress have been made. Some more dry brush and painted some areas black. I kind of like were this is going. I start to like the tank, finaly :) .

Next up on the painting tabel. This tank have been on my painting tabel since feb this year. I just dont like the design of the gun to be honest. So I never feel inspierd to paint it. Now I will do it any way and I hope once I start that my inspiration for this project will start to come .

Horus Heresy. Thousand sons

Sometimes you go to bed with a problem and wakes up with the solution.

I have been looking at the burning of prospero box since it came out and have been pondering on the question if I really need it. My iron warriors don’t really need anything from the box and I am only looking to add five more marines to my blackshield list. So why would I buy the new box set? One thing that would be tempting is to actually paint up the box as space wolves and thousand sons. It would be cool to actually have the box as it is intended. It is a nice story and from what I have heard a nice game as well. It would also be a nice way to introduce horus heresy for someone that have never played it. Two small forces from a key part of the overall story. But the problem has been the thousand sons. I love the metallic look of the thousand sons but I don’t own an air brush and did not have a single idea on how to make the color scheme work with a paint brush. Until I woke up this morning that is. So here is a quick test model with the color scheme I dreamed up. So this might just happen. I love the story of the thousand son’s vs space wolves and how tragic the whole conflict became. Two super loyal legions erupt in fire and war. Leading to one of the legions turning traitor or rater forced to become traitors. The whole story I guess is about pride and arrogance from both legions leading up to the conflict.

Today i finaly got to play a game of horus heresy after many weeks away from the gaming tabel.  

3000p of iron fire vs terror assault. Conrad vs perturabo. An epic clash that the iron warriors won. After six turns of bloody battle conrad feel and his legion shortly after. But it was not a easy victory. It was a victory paid for with blood and bodys. Perturabo and some of his tyrants was left of the IV to look out over a battle field littered with bodys and  brokend war machines. 

Super fun and exciting game!

This weekend I have had alot on my plate but i managed to finish my necron army. So everything is done. 2000p with side board points are painted, based and magnetized. I will post better pictures in the future but for now you will get an overview.

Almost done with the doomsday ark. Just a little more work.

• Might not look like i have got any work done. But most of the work have been behinde the scenes. The entire army have now been based. And i have started to put magnets on all bases. To transport my armys i use a tabelwars displaycase. So all models are standing on metalsheets keept in place with magnets. I like this typ of transport case even if it can be alittle bulky at times.

Getting there. Almost based the hole army. Some more work on the doomsday ark remains. But I am almost done with this project.

Next up and the last model to be painted is a Converted doomsday ark. I have also started to base the army. I am giving me a week to finish it all. Then i will move on :) .

It might seem like I have been painting all weekend. But to be honest i have not :). But i am however very inspired to do more necrons. So i will finish my necron force. And taking a look at the progress so far, this wont take to long. I am not so sure i will take my force and play a game any time soon. But two days ago i was going to sell my necrons army so anything can apperently happen.

So here are a fun story. I was taking out my old necron army. The Idea was that i was going to take some pictures of it so i could make a add and sell it off. However after everything was out on the tabel something happend. I now have some units on the painting tabel. A 2000p list have been drawn out and i have made plans for more purchases.....so 40k is still a thing it seems ;) . We will see how far this project will go. I will fix some of the bases and paint up some left over units. But It cant take up too much time. I still have alot of 30k plans.

So here we are. The blackshiled terminators and chaplain are done.  I am really happy with the end result. Going to look nice on the tabel top.

Almoste done with these guys. I think they getting there. Might even try to make two more conversions just to complete the terminator squad. We will see. I have some other stuff that needs my attention as well so it all depends on what i feel for when i get ready for a new project.

Next step is to start dirty these guys up a little. I like the hazard Stripes and i think it will look nice together with the other colours in the army.
