So here he is. My test model and diabolist for my Word bearers are done. I wont take any better pictures of him right now, before 2017. But as soon as this project kicks off he will be official ;) . He is right now standing in a sea of my next project. I am looking to finish my 2000p of black shields before 2016 is over. I also have some other stuff i want to get done but we will see how much hobby 2016 have left :) .
Almost done with him :) . Think he is turning out fine. Going to be an awesome 2017 project.
The first layer of wash is on the model. I have also started to clean up some of the washed red armour.
All colors have been painted, now it is time for the first wash. I think my diabolist is coming along fine. Nice to paint something different :) .
I managed to apply some red paint on my diabolist :) .
Not super much have been done to the model. But i have changed his pose a little and of corse base coated him. Think i will get time tonight or tomorrow to start on the paint scheme for real :) .
The dawn of 2017 are slowly coming. In 2017 i and my gaming group will do something like a escalation campaign in horus heresy. From 1jan to 31 will be the first 500p pledge. Idea is that this will be runing all year ending late dec 2017 with a great battle and 2000p Horus heresy armys each. Hopefully this will be a nice and easy way for members to get started with horus heresy without feeling it will cost to much at once. A nice and slow campaign. I have been thinking long and hard about my choice and finaly made up my mind about my next horus heresy army. And my choice are Word Bearers. It will be something different from my iron warriors. More organic and exotic feel to it. This dose not mean however, that i will stop adding to my iron warriors or my blackshields. But before jan 1 i wanted to make a test model. Just to try my paint scheme and to get the over all feeling of the army. I now have converted up my first character, an diabolist :) .
Last of the Necron pictures :) . And time to start think about a new project.
More pictures of my silver machines :) .
So finally I can showcase my necrons. I have still not been playing with them since early 2015 but some weeks ago I took and finished up the army. I have made a 2000p army list with an additional 750p side board. The original list works heavily on formations and other sneaky ways to get the most out of my silver friends. The side board is for mixing things up as well for giving me the flexibility of not going with my formation heavy army list. The idea is that I can swap some units in and out to make something more old school based on the normal force org chart. So here are the first units of my necron army.
So here we are. The apothecary is done. And here are all of the apothecarys for my IV legion. I dont really know what I will start working on now. We will see :) .
Slowly getting there :) .
Some more progress on the apothecary.
Added more pictures to my gallery. Soon ready to continue some of my painting projects :) .
Continuing with updating my gallery for iron warriors.
So today I did something that I have wanted to do for some time. And that is to take new pictures of my Iron warriors. I don’t feel like the first pictures I took of my 4th legion did it justice. Also I have some pictures of the medusa in its finished state. Hope you like it!
So work continues with my iron warriors. Now it is time to add one more apothecary to the force. I think the conversion turned out quite nice. Hope i can make the color scheme as good :) .
More or less done with the medusa. Just some small things to do here and there. The crew is also more or less done. Just need to put them on the bases.
I also put together a standard for my 4th legion. I mounted it on a magnet. The Idea is that i can put it on different bases and models or separate on its own base. I simply have the standard on one magnet on one side of the base and another magnet on the other side. Simple and easy :) .
Medusa project are moving forward. Time to fix up the crew :) .
